Since its creation in 1922, the vocation of Valrhona – located in Tain l’Hermitage, near Lyon - has been the same: to create exceptional chocolate using varieties of cocoa from different origins while respecting the homemade tradition. For several decades, Valrhona has selected the most beautiful and aromatic cocoa beans from plantations. The solidity of this choice is confirmed far back: motivated planters in search for quality have allowed Valrhona to create a chocolate range with a strong, intense, aromatic and persistent taste.
