Ichthyic products
Sustainable fishery, unequalled quality fish

The Ichthyic  products category is one of the richest sector of Selecta offer. A scrupulous selection (for caught fish) conducted on   board, on fishing boats, by expert sailors always following the rigorous standards of the sustainable fishery. From the Ocean, we receive rare French auction caught fish such as cod, scampi and Scottish scallops, fine crabs and big size tuna. But, we also receive mussels and clams from Italian seas (such as Porto Santo Spirito products, Puglia), or red prawns and scampi. The most important fresh or preserved fish products coming from all over the world are countless: several types of Breton oysters by Jacques Cadoret et Fils among which there is the inimitable “Belòn du Belòn”; the caviar by Caviar House & Prunier, the Balik salmon (using  smoking methods as in the tsar’s epoch), Loch Fyne Scottish salmon. In addition, there are salted anchovies from Cantabric sea and the fine fish and shellfish conserves wisely selected  by José Pena, the traditional Rafols salted cod from the best Icelander wild cod. The deliciousness of these products depends on the activity of people with a grat respect for sea and its resources.
